Global Grace Day
Invitation to a Day of Peace Action and Meditation on November 9, 2025
Do we still believe in a future without war? How must we change our thinking and actions to initiate a future free of war?
On November 9, 1989, the Wall fell in Berlin. On November 9, 1938, the Night of Broken Glass took place, marking the beginning of the public destruction and persecution of Jews in Germany. It is a day of remembrance and a day of hope that we use each year for reflection.
We realize how deep our inner transformation must be when we begin our work. We invite you to use November 9 this year as a day of prayer and action to reflect on the core question of a global possibility for peace and to join us for a peace meditation at sunset on November 9 to reflect on the power of Grace and to express our shared search for and commitment to non-violent solutions for peace beyond nationality, race, or religion.
What does Grace mean? GRACE is mercy, favor, elegance, charm, readiness, goodwill, indulgence, gracefulness. Grace also refers to the act of grace itself. GRACE reminds me that I am on a mission for a higher cause, in the service of life and its inherent justice. Those who are walking in the name of GRACE do not come to accuse. GRACE brings with it a commitment to not fuel war but to end it, wherever you are.
Meditation on Grace
Under the light of the olive tree, the tree of peace, we seek the silence of the heart, where the noise of war falls silent.
In the silence, we hear the song of Grace and see a light shining in the darkness. It illuminates what is hidden within us, ready to recognise and disempower the evil within ourselves. Where consciousness shines, there can be no war.
Plagued by destruction and fear, we ourselves had lost faith in peace. Grace disempowers resignation and our hidden complicity.
Now we stand at the threshold, we call it Metanoia. Ready to turn back and recognise the truth.
We no longer follow historical narratives that masked the perpetrators within ourselves and in the world and made war seem necessary. We are ready to recognise the painful truths we have ignored.
Grace opens up the power of change within us and shows us the most powerful enemy – disbelief, which hides our light like a shadow. In unbelief, we had closed our eyes to the pure substance of love from which we come.
Grace helps us transform our inner chaos into the power of peace. Grace will accompany us home. Beyond religion, nation, skin colour and worldview, Grace illuminates the gateway to the sacred order, to a new perception of reality.
The call of Grace will open our hearts and give us the courage to enter into the silence, to let go of resistance and to recognise the power of peace.
In Grace, we experience the power of forgiveness as a living force that gives us the courage to recognise what we have done and what we have suffered. Where consciousness lives, there can be no war.
We are here not to resign ourselves, but to cultivate the fields of peace. We recognise the power of a healthy organism so that together we can plant the seeds for a healthy future. Thus, on the horizon of history, the dawn of a humane culture unfolds so that heaven on earth comes to life.
From divergence to diversity, from polarity to the power of connectedness, from dominance to cooperation, from ignorance to compassion for all living things, from the power of domination to the power of compassion and cooperation. We bear witness to the birth of a culture of peace in living communion with all beings. We accept the vocation of Earth stewardship to which the living Earth calls us. May each of us recognise our place in it.
May Grace enable us to end war wherever we are.
We embed our souls in the sacredness of life and remember our origin. We hear and bear witness to the song of a healthy and beloved Earth.
The future begins now.
